We offer opportunities for individuals to become either Full-Time Treatment Caregivers or Respite Caregivers. We welcome both Indigenous and non-Indigenous Caregivers to join our mission in making a difference in the lives of children.

Types of Caregivers at Eagle’s Nest: A Place to Soar

A full-time treatment caregiver provides a permanent home for a child or youth with complex needs. This caregiver is dedicated to long-term care and is trained to address the unique challenges of caring for children with emotional, behavioral, or mental health.

  • Commitment: Full-time commitment to providing a permanent home for children with complex needs.
  • Requirements: Experience in caring for children with emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges.
  • Responsibilities: Implementing treatment plans, providing therapeutic support, and creating a stable and nurturing environment.

Respite Care is a part-time commitment where caregivers step in temporarily to provide care for children, allowing full-time caregivers to rest and recharge. This service is crucial for maintaining the well-being of our primary caregivers, ensuring they have the support needed to continue providing high-quality care.

  • Commitment: Part-time commitment offering temporary breaks for full-time caregivers.
  • Requirements: Ability to provide a safe and supportive environment for children on a short-term basis.
  • Responsibilities: Caring for children during planned or emergency situations, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
